The Melange Shade
Look at that rusty orange glow! Brighten up any room with The Melange Lampshade, a one-of-a-kind Victorian style shade, handsewn in the UK.
Starting with a drawing room shaped frame, bright orange velvet fabric is layered with black pleated chiffon, rust pleated chiffon and flowery black burnout fabric. The handsewn shade is embellished with handmade black tatted design. Each corner features amber, crystal and black coloured glass beading and a black tassel. Finally the shade is finished with black criss cross design braid and a luxurious 15cm drop black fringing.
Dimensions are: 35cm width, 31cm height, 15cm drop fringing.
This is for the lampshade only. Base and fittings not included. If you are unsure what fitting to purchase to use this on a lampshade base, send us a message and we can advise.
We recommend only using LED bulbs, as these do not get hot and will not damage the lampshade.
A simple duster is the best method of keeping your lampshade looking like new! We do not advise getting the lampshade wet at all as this will affect the look of the shade and breakdown parts that are glued.
